FAQ

When is the library open?
 The library hours are from 7:30-3:00 M/Tu/Fr. The library will be open from 7:15-3:00 on W/Th. 

Can I have food or drink in the library?  
No. You may have water in a sealable container.  Please enjoy all other drinks and food in the commons. 

Checking out library materials...  A student ID is required to check out all items in the library.
  • Students may check out up to 3 items; most can be kept for 2 weeks with a 3-day grace period.
  • A few items are overnight checkout only.
  • Items checked out from the library are stamped with a due date.
  • Items may be renewed up to 3 times as long as no one else has the item reserved.
Fines The library only charges a fine if a student loses or damages materials. Students will receive reminders for overdue books but no fines will be assessed. 

Yearbooks may be held at the end of the year until overdue/lost fees are taken care of.

Lost/Unreturned Items:  Items will be billed at the replacement cost of the item.
 
What should I do if I need to print?

There are computers available in the library if you need to print. You can also print from your Chromebook and pick up your materials in the library.  (Nothing will be printed until you release it from the printer, so you can print anytime and release it later.  You will need your PaperCut code to access the copy machines.  If you need help accessing your PaperCut code, ask a librarian for assistance.
 
Can students borrow a Chromebook or charger for a class?

Students are responsible for bringing their Chromebook fully charged to school every day. The library will not loan students a device unless their device is in repair by the CyberCats. There is a charging cart available to students in the library.
