Happy Hallow-Homecoming! Today is Costume Day, tomorrow is Monochromatic Day and Togas for seniors. Join the fun of a pumpkin carving contest and a car decorating contest.  Submit your pumpkin and car designs through google forms that you will find on the Arvada West homepage.  Heads up for next week: Hearty Homecoming with Camouflage Day and College Day.  There’ll be a virtual Homecoming Assembly and Royalty voting, canned food and cellphones for soldiers drive.  See the Harvest Homecoming link on the website for more information and links to activities! 

Thinking of making a cool costume to express your own culture or a group costume? Student Voice is holding the Spooky Showdown Costume Contest this week. Send a picture of your costume to Student Voice.

Seniors!  It’s time to order your graduation announcements, cap & gown and grad accessories. Please see the link on the graduation tab to view the graduation packet video and ordering information.  Early Bird pricing ends on December 8 so do it soon!

Tickets are now available for the livestream production of our Fall Play, “The Dining Room”.  Performance date is Saturday, November 7 at 7:00 pm. Single livestream tickets are $5 or a family for $10.  To purchase tickets visit On Stage Now, our new ticketing website.  There is also a link on our website. Please support the Arvada West Theatre Company and enjoy some “live “ theatre.

Support the DECA club and grab some raging good pizza. Head on over to MOD Pizza off of Ralston Road on Wednesday, October 28th.   Perfect for a quick lunch or dinner with your family! The next meeting of the Awest STEAM club is Tuesday, Nov 3rd at 1:30pm. New members are welcome. We will be discussing the virtual state TSA conference and projects. Then support STEAM by eating at Chipotle Tuesday night from 4-8. Make sure that you mention you are with Awest or use the promo code if ordering online. See the website for the code!

Hey Wildcats! Interested in joining the National Art Honors Society? Our next virtual meeting is on November 5th, from 2-3pm. Email Mrs. Dalton for the google classroom code. Can't wait to see you there!

The AWest GSA is starting back up, if you are interested in joining the club, please email Mrs. Dallman and put GSA in the subject line and she’ll get back to you soon.  Our mission is to promote tolerance and acceptance throughout the school community and to provide a safe, non-judgmental space as a support network for Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender, Questioning, and Straight youth who share a common vision of social equality.
